Messenger alert
Improved in DT 5
Messenger Alert allows the administrator to define a messenger-style alert for all toolbar users or for a s pecific group of users. The alert will appear from the system tray with the following customizations: New! Supports rich content format (JavaScript, Flash, etc.) • Allows multiple windows • Supports file protocol for local windows • Supports WAV file • Supports UTF for international alphabets • Supports HTML • Supports bitmap to integrate an image • The alert window automatically resizes itself to the content of the message • The alert can be triggered with the Watch URL feature.
Email alert
Allows an alert to be defined for a button on the toolbar. When there is a new email, the bitmap on the button will change (may require some custom work).
Button alert
Allows an alert to be defined on a button of the toolbar. When the status of the URL changes, the bitmap on the button also changes. Can be used for breaking news, stock quotes, and so on.
Popup scheduler 
The toolbar administrator can define a window to pop up at a date and time. The content of the pop-up is a URL that is specified in the configuration file. The window's width and height can be controlled by the configuration file. The pop-up can be displayed under the browser (Internet Explorer) or as modal window (Internet Explorer on a Windows Form). The window will pop-up after "x" seconds when the user launches Internet Explorer. If IE is already open, the window will pop up immediately. This feature can be built in the user toolbar and can be active whenever the administrator wants to schedule a pop-up to be displayed to all toolbar users.
Pop-under on user action
A pop-under can be launched for a specific user when she/he clicks on the ticker or on a button.
Pop-under on user login
When a user sign-in to the toolbar, depending on his status, a pop-under can be displayed. Can be used for instance as a membership renewal notice or a special promotion a specific group of users.
